			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On December 8th, I interviewed Dr. Adam Lewis (listen <a href="http://www.90degreessouth.org/archives/29">here</a>), but at the time knew only a hint of the importance of his research, which includes some of the most significant finds to come out of Antarctica, including fossilized remains of previously unknown species.</p>
<p>A <a href="http://www.pnas.org/cgi/doi/10.1073/pnas.0802501105">paper</a> in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences by Lewis and colleagues Dr. David Marchant, Boston University, Dr. Allan Ashworth, also at North Dakota State University, and several others has triggered a media blitz.</p>
